Operation SafeHouse takes in young adult sex trafficking victims, but they also take in homeless young adults before they are sucked into the gang, drug and sex trafficking life. These young adults come from dysfunctional homes and need hope and help just like any young adult who still needs guidance, help and direction. Established in 2000, The [Operation SafeHouse] Main Street Transitional Living Program is a 15-bed apartment complex located in downtown Riverside. Services are available to older homeless youth ages 18-22 for up to 18-months.
While in [their] care youth receive continuing educational assistance, individualized therapy, financial education, employment assistance, and access to medical and dental healthcare. [Their] staff is available 24-hours a day to help [young adults] achieve [their] academic goals, secure employment, and develop a healthy self-perspective for getting through life.
The Main Street Transitional Living Program will provide...a road map to start building... successful futures, while [providing a live in] caring and supportive environment.
