Inspire Life Skills Training - Our Cause for July & August 2019

July 1, 2019

INSPIRE continues to add to its ability to help ex foster young adults pull themselves out of and above the narrative they have been given. What is that narrative? Homelessness, mental and emotional illness, sex trafficking, gangs, low employment, no college education, no drivers license or ability to know how the world works. We all need help in our early 20's just out of High School. Inspire gives that help and more. The new narrative? Housing, direction, mentoring, counseling, healthy relationships with adults, college graduation or trade programs, employment, cooking classes, license/insurance and know how for adult success. INSPIRE has added a new annual retreat with instruction that is helping these ex fosters to successfully overcome and recover from the emotional and mental boundaries that have been put in their way. Here are just a few updates from 2018:

"A couple highlights from our students this year include: Ashley is only a couple of classes away from graduating from CBU! Two of our students have earned full scholarships for vocational programs. Ramses earned his driver’s license and saved for his first car. We’re so proud of the many milestones that were achieved by our youth in 2018 and are looking forward to seeing all they accomplish in 2019."

Help us to help INSPIRE to continue forward in their success! Please order from our online bakery for delivery in the cities of Corona, Norco, Eastvale, and Riverside. All net proceeds for the months of July and August will go to INSPIRE.
